Fantastic hotel in a very cute Belgian Village. We were on holiday in the area, just for the weekend, to look at the WW1 war sites. I found it very difficult to decide where to stay and Hotel Messeyne exceeded all expectations. For the price it is in a great location, is comfortable, clean, the staff are great, the village is beautiful, there are lots of good local restaurants. I would definitely recommend.

The breakfast at Hotel Messeyne was absolutely delicious. They had a wide variety of options and everything was of high quality. The outdoor sitting area for breakfast was a nice touch on a warm day. Additionally, the staff was very helpful and accommodating. They allowed us to store our camping equipment in the garage, which saved us from having to carry it up to our rooms. The hotel is also conveniently located within walking distance to the riverside and main square, which were filled with excellent restaurants and bars. The rooms themselves were beautifully decorated and well furnished.

The value for money at Messeyne was excellent, with a modern and clean room that had the added bonus of air conditioning. The hotel's location was perfect, just a short stroll away from the city center and the beautiful river promenade. The staff were friendly and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable.
The morning meal could have been better if there were more options available.

The rooms at this hotel were incredibly spacious and comfortable, allowing for a relaxing and restful night's sleep. The breakfast options were top-notch, with a wide variety of high-quality ingredients to choose from. the location of the hotel was ideal for exploring the city, with the main square and riverside just a short walk away.
There were a few negatives during my stay. The bedroom lighting was quite dim, making it difficult to see properly.

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Hotel Messeyne! The hotel is beautiful, and our room was spacious, and lovely. We loved sitting out on the back patio and listening to the the sounds of the frogs in the back garden. And our dinner was a gormet delight (including tge surprise appetizers)! We would absolutely stay there again, and highly recommend it.

This was an amazing hotel. The hotel is old but the remodel is so high end and well done that we thought it was our favorite of the whole trip. If I could have scored it higher, I would have. The staff was wonderful, it had parking and a lift/elevator but we used the circlular stairs most of the time. I would recommend this place and the town to get away for the weekend or a quiet stay for vacation.
